  10. WHAT IS SHOPNET?

  12. ShopNet is an electronic echomail network of classifed ads from all across
  13. the United States.  If you have an item to sell, or are looking to buy an
  14. item, simply place an echomail message in the appropriate ShopNet conference
  15. and your message will be transmitted all across the country!

  18. HOW TO JOIN

  20. To join ShopNet, simply freq SHOPNET from either 822:822/0 or 1:108/110.
  21. Fill out the application and netmail it to either address.  We'll get you
  22. up and running in no time!  There is no cost associated with carrying
  23. ShopNet or advertising in ShopNet.

  26. CONFERENCES

  28. Currently, there are 18 specific ShopNet conferences, including an official
  29. American Banking Systems conference, for direct contact concerning the Checks
  30. Online program.  You may join any or all of the conferences, and may send
  31. additions or deletions to AREAMGR at address 822:513/0.

  36. The current nodelist will always be made available on The Basic Concept BBS.
  37. All systems participating in SHOPNET will receive a new, updated nodelist
  38. each week.  The current nodelist may be freq'd from 822:822/0 by magic name
  39. SHOPLIST.

  45. 822:513/0.  This information will also be carried on selected BBS sytems
